  • World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth’s new allied race system will push players throughout Azeroth (and beyond) to recruit allies. One of the newest allied races could have us traveling back in history to World of Warcraft’s alternate-universe Draenor, where everything has taken a turn to the weird.

    Thanks into a data-mined broadcast text from WoWHead (that's always be subject to change), players have an idea of exactly how bad things goes when they come back to Draenor. It turns out, time works a tad differently when hopping between timelines.

    Players head back to Draenor to recruit the Mag’har orcs (which only denotes un-corrupted in Orcish, you aren't green to your rest of us), whom players first met two expansions ago, in World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor. While many players might have left that expansion thinking they saved the globe from its horrible future within the default timeline — which had been its destruction from the Burning Legion, a demonic army — things haven’t exactly ended up well.
