They met at gym - and it was a case of love at first sight for Nash and Peter.
After a magical proposal at the Franz Josef Glacier, the couple tied the knot in a moving ceremony decked in high glamour. With not one but two gowns flown in from the Philippines, bride Nash co-ordinated her special day in the most stylish way.
Add Greek dancing, a 3D projection mapped cake, and a wedding video that was filmed and watched by all at the reception, and you have a pretty spectacular wedding. But we'll let Nash tell you all about it...

How did you meet? We met at a gym back in 2012 where Pete used to work as a personal trainer. I just recently joined and had no clue what I was doing, he came up to me, started chatting and showing me a few routines and the rest was history.
Tell us about the proposal: We went to Franz Josef Glacier for our third anniversary and on our way to hike up the glaciers, Pete found a nice location where he said we could "do some filming" (we like documenting our trips and make videos).
So I was posing and dancing in the snow, and when I turned around, there he was on his knee with a ring on his hand. It was very unexpected and sweet, and a bonus that we captured it on camera.
Location of wedding: The ceremony was at the Greek Orthodox Church where Pete's parents got married and the reception was at Wellington's Michael Fowler Centre.
Describe your wedding day: We got married a day before Pete's birthday. The wedding day was like a dream come true, and how we imagined it to be. Now we know why they say your wedding day is the "best day ever".
Having all our loved ones there to celebrate with us was a truly wonderful memory.
The reception was decorated by the fantastic team at Red Pebble. Very romantic and intimate. There was a lot of laughter, music and Greek dancing!
We knew everything was going to fly so fast, so we made sure that we enjoyed and savoured every moment.
Tell us about the dress: I had two wedding dresses. I wore one at the church ceremony - a beautiful fully beaded mermaid dress - and another one - a simple, flowy white dress - for the reception.
Both were custom designed by Harley Ruedas Couture in the Philippines.
The flowers: We used white, champagne and greens as our colour palette for our flowers. The beautiful flowers were provided by Black Rose Florist.
I had a photo of my dad and I on my wedding bouquet which was very sentimental to me.
Highlight of the wedding: There were a few highlights actually, the first was walking down the aisle and seeing each other for the first time - it was just surreal.
Another one was our 3D projection mapped wedding cake. We wanted something out of the ordinary, and we were very thrilled that no one has seen it done here before. It was like having a light show on a cake. Everyone was mesmerised.
Was there any drama? The only thing we could remember was the photo booth at our reception did not print the photos, but was fixed immediately by the company.
The honeymoon: We did a 10-day cruise around the South Pacific Islands - Vanuatu and New Caledonia. It was Pete's first time on a cruise and he had a blast! We then spent a week in North Shore and Waikiki, Hawaii.
Your photographer and favourite photo? Our photographer was the amazing Paul Howell. He was just very nice to deal with. We loved all our photos! Our favourites would have to be one with our families, bridal party and us kissing.
Our videographer, Jetmo Project, were from Auckland and they did such an amazing job with our same day edit video which was filmed and also shown at our wedding reception.
Your advice to future brides out there: Enjoy the wedding journey. It can be stressful, overwhelming, but all worth it. Never make it only about you - involve your partner as much as possible.
