Cut an A+ 8" by 1" strip of material to make the outside cover along with one A+ 6" by B+ 1 piece of fusible medium weight non-woven interfacing. Then iron it onto the wrong side of the fabric, sewing around the edges using the length of a 1/4 inch. Then press in each handle strip until it's in line with the fold at the center before marking its position using pins. Sew the handles' ends on inside of cover ensuring not to stitch through pockets while using zigzag stitching to avoid raveling.
