    About Lane Boots

Lane boots were designed for fashionable cowgirls seeking striking designs that stand out. Justine Lord President of Lane Boots, reports that thousands of her fans are energized when they wear her designs. This is something Justine feels very personally about when creating them by hand at their factory in Leon, Mexico, opened in 2013. In addition, Lane Boots produces styles for other brands, including Double D Ranchwear and Junk Gypsies.

The leather is cut using metal dies and an automated computerized cutting machine, but each pair of Lane Boots is finished by hand. Workers apply leather over the last and insole and insole, creating their unique look as well as adding decorative embellishments like studs or inlays to Lane Boots. After stitching, they employ more than twenty steps in stitching it all together, before adding heels tacks or lemon wood pegs as finishing touches to their work!

The finished product is the result of Lane Boots' labor of passion reflects traditional western designs but is also awe-inspiring, with excitement and unmatched quality. Their merchandising team identifies patterns, colors and other details that are new and exciting before translating them into their collection which includes rustic English riding styles with touches of bling embroidery, influenced with Lane Boots' Spring 2016 lineup.

    Styles

Lane Boots pride themselves on being different, and this has certainly been true since their inception in 2007. Their slogan sums up their mission They love being unique! Their boots cater to today's fashion-conscious Western wear enthusiast, with distinctive styles that are distinctive from the traditional Western footwear options.

They are not mass-produced, and these cowboy boots are handmade by the artisans of Lane Boots' factory in Leon, Mexico using traditional methods and some modern machinery. By shaping every piece of leather using metal dies and an automated cutter, the team carefully shapes it for use before applying studding and inlays, before stitching it to complete stitching.

Shoes made at Lane Boots are first sanded down, stained with the brand's signature turquoise color, later decorated with studs and trims made of metal to give it that distinctive Lane look.

Lane Boots has grown beyond being sold under their own brand name to also manufacturing footwear for popular brands such as Double D Ranchwear, and Kippys and is currently working on a product specifically for Junk Gypsies (a popular boho lifestyle brand). In addition, the company is expanding their retail reach through the opening of stores all over America. One of these is Arlington TX which houses an extensive collection of fashionable high-fashion boots from Lane Boots.

    Materials

Boots are made of various materials and leather is an extremely well-known selections due to its strength as well as its softness and water resistance. Other popular options include nylon, suede, and rubber which serve different functions for cold weather usage or work outdoors.

There are many styles of boots on the market today, from ankle-length to over-the-thigh boots, depending on your individual needs and preferences for style. Ankle-length boots are better suited to warmer climates, or for walking through cities while over-the-thigh boots are more suitable for working outdoors.

Material selection plays an important part in the durability and the comfort of boots. Leather is an old-fashioned choice, made of soft and durable leather that provides high levels of comfort for feet. Rubber offers waterproof protection, while suede offers soft, velvety cushioning under feet.

Most boots are constructed from a combination of materials to accommodate different requirements and preferences. For instance, some include wool lined to provide warmth and insulation. Likewise, lightweight nylon material may also be added for ventilation purposes.

    Care

Keep your boots looking their best by adhering to a few basic guidelines. First, regularly wiping or brushing off any dust or dirt can prevent tiny fibers that keep leather supple from becoming cut away by dirt. Then, for leather with a smooth finish boots regularly apply leather conditioner and test small sections first to ensure it does not change or discolor its finish. Then, apply a protective spray or beeswax protection against snow and rain with products available at most retail stores. Always follow the instructions on their labels!

Leathers with rough finishes such as suede and nubuck need to be regularly maintained using a soft bristled brush as well as a dry cloth, in addition to regular conditioning treatments to maintain their durable water repellent (DWR) appearance. Resoling boots with waterproofing products that are made of waxes can hinder the future sole bond from adhering well.

Lane Boots takes great satisfaction in the fact that their fashionable customers report feeling comfortable and even happy wearing their boots, due to the quality of their workmanship and focus on detail. President Justine Lord noted as evidence Lane's products go beyond cowboy boots!
