Former Red Peter Crouch reveals his 'biggest regret in football

  • Peter Crouch has enjoyed an objective-laden Premier League and international career, but has one moment which still stands out to be a major regret.

    “I'd say my biggest regret in football had not been starting that game.     “I underwent a little barren spell – well, quite an enormous barren spell (laughs) – and I really just planned to head to Southampton as soon as possible,” added Crouch, who did not find the back with the net as part of his first 18 games with the Reds. “I was thinking 'what have I done?'
