The battle for supremacy in Region 8-4A takes place Friday night in Shirley Stadium, as the Hornets host the defending Class 4A South State champ Rockachaws. The Panthers have begun league play with three straight wins against a trio of teams that are 0-9 collectively in region games. Pascagoula will certainly be tested in this renewal of an old rivalry, as these teams meet for the first time in 15 years.

Also, the Greyhounds are 4-0 against the Rebels over the past four years.
