This time around, Jazz artist Esperanza Spalding both stars in the film and is the creative genius behind the beautiful accompanying soundtrack.
Directed by Allie Avital, the film follows a photographer who has her sights set upon a firefighter who works directly across the street from where she lives. She’s often found gazing at him through her window, through her camera lens, and in passing outside. Some might call it a story of hopeless romanticism while others see otherwise. You decide.
