The matter was that they thought their entire monetization system would have failed in the west and in the time they would have been right. Back then the backlash from cash shops was huge and frankly PSO2 has a fairly terrible cash shop with the gatcha system for the cosmetics people desire. Games with hefty pay to acquire aspects paved the way to buy pso2 meseta xbox not be blasted except for the money store. People say well and now see the money shop I have seen worse.
