I understand what you mean. Although I think that is the way PSO2 is designed; it doesn't try to maintain participant's hands at all. Even the Arks Mission system is a massive improvement on what it was originally. This is not true for everything, however. Take force. You unlock mix techs at level 70 however NOWHERE in the match does it tell you . You need to go upstairs in the primary reception and talk to an npc you've never needed to previously speak to to do a customer order to unlock them.
I can understand this matter. The game essentially heaps so much shit that they expect you to read for a game I do not even know if I will enjoy or not.
My experience was this:"Oh phantasy star is out on steam now I will check it out to see if I even care about it", do intro things for some great gameplay. Game screeches to a halt and bombards me with textbox following text box and then the intro video, I have to keep talking to individuals for more text boxes. More tutorials I get by talking to NPC's round the gateway that I do not remember being led into in the initial place for matters like such and the mag. I see every NPC has like 5 orders that I do not even know what's going on. So now I'm like 30-40 minutes in (likely more) after I even made my character and that I haven't even done one assignment outside of that initial one.
This was on top of trying to figure out the menus are even layed out or function, so I forgot shit. Shit if I can reaccess the tutorials to get, that I don't know.
