Spoilers if you do not wish to know about possible future content upgrades, but dataminers have found code that's apparently associated with developing veggies and some form of cooking (DIYs maybe?) . I don't know the complete details, but this was posted some time before, and I'd guess it would be coming round the time of the Harvest Festival if that's still a Animal Crossing Bells thing.
Yessss. Yeah a lot of the baseline features and gameplay sounds like it would encourage a feature like this, source collecting and recipes etc, so it doesn't seem like a huge jump. When it does become a thing I'd be so happy.
I have been a fan of the show since Wild World, which came out in 2005.
I like New Horizons, but the problem that lots of players have with is that the continuing issue the animal personalities are a good deal more bland compared to older games. If you see footage in the Gamecube version, you will observe that animals were a lot more"hot" with regard to how they talked to you. Oftentimes, they were really quite impolite - alerting you if you refused to assist them/do something for them. This was down when Wild World was released, but animals were not overly friendly as they are in New Leaf/New Horizons. Friendships needed to be developed over time, and it was gratifying to notice when an animal you wanted to befriend was steadily warming up for you (ultimately giving you their picture once you had been best buddies ).
I believe that the island development tools in New Horizons are great, but my main reason for playing the sport is to befriend my animals. There is no obstacle to it because everyone is really friendly off-the-bat, even the characters like cranky/snooty (where they're intended to be more stand-offish with you at first).
They've also apparently removed a characteristic where creatures would visit your home at a specific time. It was a nice way for gamers who do not have the ability to go online to have people look at their home. There was also a consequence to buy Animal Crossing New Horizons Items not turning up on time: it'd produce the animal angry and your friendship could have a slight hit.
