Which could become dead in a couple of months when everyone has run out of tasks to perform and goals to reach. Leagues are designed in RS gold a way for you to be able to access end-game articles in matter of weeks, not to mention using permanent servers will kill the hype to future leagues cause the enjoyable and unique league gameplay, well, won't be so fun and unique anymore.
I would personally keep playing it. If nothing else because you are able to get the gratification of filling logs much much quicker.
People are probably sleeping this but Leagues is probably the ideal way to learn TOB and Nightmare mechanics since you have more margin for error and teams are likely more accepting of mistakes. That is invaluable since its basically impossible to Actually locate experienced teams ready to put up with a newbie and soloing things too time consuming
I can see how it's fun for casuals and people with not that much time who are stuck in mid-game in the authentic OSRS and did not experience much of the end-game content.
For me however, it merely looks like a personal server with Jmod abilities and instant gratification. I frankly wouldn't feel great about finishing GWD in a couple of days and ruining every boss without effort.
I know this sub has a fucking heart attack any time dual exp is said, but frankly double exp weekends sometimes would put me back to playing the sport compared to anything.Leagues has been a good deal of fun, but man I'm so poor at playing region locked Ironman lol. Every time I develop a plan I hit a roadblock. I like the xp Prices and relics but also miss the GE
Personally, I could go as far as to say this is the most fun I've ever had playing the sport. I have played through almost every iteration of RS besides classic, played through all the good and bad and I can still say after 15 years this is the most fun.
The first portion of the league is a cheap RuneScape gold bit grindy* untill you unlock your 2nd location. Additionally, it requires a decent but of obscure game understanding, and a few people do not want to look up the wiki every other minute.
