A lot of my friends will try pso2 sales for the very first time on the NA Server following week on PC. Since I've played my fair share about the JP Servers (About 350 hours) I've made an effort at making a noob-friendly guide that is chiefly focused onthe NA Servers in order to help them so they can begin on the right foot. This is my very first effort in making a manual for any matches and considering that I just have 350 hours on the Japanese servers, I hope that a few things to be wrong but I feel the baseline of it is there.
As of right now, it's mostly focused on early and mid game, I plan to upgrade it in the long run to add end-game informations, I'm not entirely confident of the differences between JP and NA since I only reached level 40 on my friend's Xbox one. In case you have any queries, or if you see anything which should be added or changed, don't hesitate to message me on Discord. I am on the Fleet discord with my messages available to anyone who share a host with me if you want to prevent sending a friend request!
I would recommend that you look in videos on the NPC titles. Although it isn't really a huge issue for most folks, others may get confused or refuse help when they visit our Language patch in photographs and might shrug it off as being JP only. Added a note about that on the title page and updated some NPCs that I could discover off images that are OK. As soon as Phantasy Star Online 2 release Wednesday I will update these with quality images that are greater! Still searching for videos for now though at which I will get a fantastic shot of particular NPCs. Didn't know that there was a dictionary. Thanks for pointing out that, I upgrade that asap and will look up that!
When you take a mission, you will not always receive a window with customer orders you'll be able to accept. However there is an alternative from the client orders menu (third person ) that claims to reveal to customer orders fitting current mission. Use this to choose client orders that you would like to do. This list includes all client orders that have mobs they may or may not appear (but at least have a chance to appear/drop). Do not assume they'll be auto if it's similar to a random field boss, if you do the mission completed. EDIT: does not work from in the campship, only area afaik. Free field missions (jp name?) Will send you to the campship before requesting you, which makes it not able to those assignments.
For Free field assignments select'search in this block' first delivered to campship so you can do the option. Reselect the assignment to select match in multiple blocks to get sent directly off to campship. Otherwise you can't do this option. You take it np again and could always safely discard a client mission. A lot of client missions are also repeatable! (like all of the from hans and Lavierna (spelling). Free Field Missions (jp term?) : Do these first when you can as completing them for the first time on your accounts (not simply char!) Will open more client orders from above npc's but Phantasy Star Online 2 Meseta also open other missions.
