I have played RS off

What we do despise is RS gold players (who I hope aren't most ) who feel the need to tell us that our game stinks, coming to tell us we are dumb for playing"ezscape". We play RS3 for different reasons than you play OSRS, do not assume we are trying to play your game but made easier or prettier, that is simply not it. I streamed RS3 for a while, and I just had 8 or 9 audiences the majority of the time. Yet somehow, several times weekly, I'd have someone hop in conversation and rant and rave about how awful RuneScape is and I should not be enjoying it. It almost feels like the OSRS community cares about placing the RS3 community compared to simply choosing to encourage other members of the community.

I couldn't play with OSRS, but I know many of people who played only RS3 for years, and have since started playing OSRS account too. There are a number of people who like both, I do not think it's a large percentage, but it's certainly not an insignificant quantity. I like watching OSRS content, not stream degree, but YouTube clips of streams or progress updates on obstacle balances. I really enjoy watching people enjoy their game, but it is not a game that I like myself. Onto the differences in matches that matter to me.

I have played RS off and on because 2006/2007, I liked the OS content as it was new, and eoc frightened me away like most of the community. But I came back and gave it a serious try and actually enjoyed it. I have been not able to enjoy OSRS since. RS3 includes a huge number of quests, and many have rewards that assist you in some way or another even after you're done. On top of this, they can offer decent filler space for if skilling gets boring, and you require a break or another way to bring in exp. I am not one for lore, but I love quests since I could be a spacebar quester but not feel like I'm wasting my time finishing the quest for the sake of saying I finished it.

There's QOL built into RuneScape to prevent needing to spend hours doing things that really should only be done after. I enjoy needing to collect a knife and shed a list space for this, I like having the ability to travel the entire world on a whim without half of my inventory being consumed by teleports. I like having my run run out since I spent a couple hours on agility. The QOL is a massive element for me and it is hard to lose it all when enjoying OSRS. The skilling at RS3 is considerably faster, and much more afk than OSRS. I do enjoy skilling, so it being quickly and afk enables me make progress faster than I could playing OSRS and to do things. On top of that, I will work without feeling like I have squandered who knows the number of cheap OSRS gold hours getting there, towards the content I really like.
