One-Time Items in Chests. As I was exploring the dungeon of Edgeville, I came across some chests. The excitement grew in me when I opened them and looked around but found nothing. I believe that chests in Dungeons should contain only one-time items such as potions for strength. You'll find that exploring suddenly becomes more fun when you set it up so that each player can only get these items once.
Why? because it's fun. It would be an enormous incentive to go to places that you wouldn't normally visit. It can also be a lot of fun. It will make the dungeons appear as RPG dungeons. Chests that were highly valuable would be more difficult to obtain.
Other modifications to original suggestion. Not every chest needs an item. It's enough to make the scenic drive worth it. Maybe two out of three. Consider making each item you pull from the chest untradeable. You get a Strength potion and you want to make it inaccessible.
Argument to support the "devaluation" argument. These chests will not be sought by more than 25% of Runescape inhabitants. If you subtract Skillers or many PvPers, it is likely that there will be less people. It is likely to be more difficult to find moderately valuable items and this could lead to a drop in the amount of players who are able to obtain them. I doubt that the majority of treasure hunters will go straight to the GE with their items to sell. It is more likely that items that cheap RuneScape gold are perishable will be utilized by the person who got them.
