I was glad when I received my acceptance letter to college. I was waiting with baited breath for it, for almost two months. I was scared that I wasn’t going to get into the college that I desired. I had almost taken the risk of applying to one college. This is because I believed that I was going to get in no matter what. That is how much I believed in myself. My parents weren’t happy with the academic risk that I was taking, and they ordered me to apply to two more colleges. In my heart, though, I was crossing my fingers that I would get into my campus choice.
During such times, I would hire an essay writer which I would pass off as my work. When the acceptance letters began to come in the mailbox, I was ecstatic that my dream college had accepted me. I could not help but jump up and down when I told my parents. They were also happy for me, and as a gift, my father gave me five hundred dollars to splurge on anything that I wanted. When I went off to campus, I didn’t anticipate the tough academic tasks that I faced.
