The price will always be OSRS gold at 11$(subject to rise fairly shortly ), but you'll continue getting less and less. Used to get QUALITY updates each week if runescape was 5$ a month, now you get these presumed"growth sized updates- 120 herb/farm", which are unfinished and barebones with no true material, interlaced with patch weeks for months,
prior to and after the material fall. It appears runescape is already running in maintenance mode, the minimum is done to retain as many busy memberships as possible, and the majority of JMODS has to be away working on another MMO or something.
Except you're missing a lot with this generalisation. The current OSRS community is not comprised of the specific same people that left when EoC was released. It's now partly RS3 people who transferred to escape MTXscape, partially new runescape players, partially returning runescape players who simply didn't go to RS3 because OSRS was more nostalgic, and you will find others as well.
They would also present MTX at a really very gradual manner to prevent a mass ragequit. They proved that they can get away with this with the launch of bonds. Frame that however you desire, but at the close of the day, bonds do allow Buy Runescape gold players to purchase in-game items for real cash. I will absolutely guarantee there will be outrage, and that many would quit, but enough would accept the gradual increments, just like enough accepted the bonds.
