Nah, I had been involved in the WOW Classic beta back prior to WOW Classic was started, back also the level cap was 39 and when there was just one server. There really is a difference in customer service from back then and now. Sure, it's a for profit business but when it was popular and they were adding servers right for its rush of WOW players at launch, it was cutthroat. You used to be able to get an unintentionally deleted character or item back should you sent in a ticket (after some time that was limited to a certain number of times every year). You used to get'unstuck' instead of needing to be instakilled through the port and waste your hearth, if you're stuck in a GM. There certainly were a great deal of'participant' rules about GM interaction that are only gone now.
That is. Blizzards coverage has been to do ban waves rather than banning bots individually. This contributes to situations where individuals are reporting a bot that's farming valuable mats and nothing happens for weeks, which naturally pisses off the player base and just encourages the bot operators since they know theyll be able to repay the price of their CD key before finally getting banned. Its a shitty program but its always been like that.
The thing about that banning in waves method is that a lot of the men and women who get banned then scream about being banned turn out to be full of shit. They engaged in certain blatantly ban worthy behaviour before, or paid a power leveling service to level an alt months ago, or frequently botted to farm mats months ago and believed they got away with it. Then, once the ban hammer does they throw a tantrum trying to get their account reinstated by making Blizzard seem bad. Youll sometimes see them get called out with a CSR but usually Blizzard just ignores them.
Anyways, my point is that you need cheap wow gold to be very skeptical about people claiming they were falsely banned. I mean, look at the article about a man for having the exact same title as a 22, being banned. In his case that he hadnt paid his subscription charge and'd misread the Blizzard was sending him. That post OP connected was bunk as hell.You will occasionally observe a manufacturer or other high level developer call out a player in public over this stuff. A developer was specifically who was well known for calling attention.
