On account of the gain of microtransactions and NBA2king the insane market share that 2K holds due to this, do you anticipate NBA 2K20 cost to reduce? I would love to hear your thoughts, this is for a University job so that I would appreciate some input! No. Regardless of what people that mindlessly call what"socialism" want to think... that's not even how Capitalism works. Businesses will always try to earn the maximum profits possible. Do not see any reason that they would earn more cash lowering price of heart merchandise. Wouldn't be surprised if they delved deeper to microtransactions or expansions or season passes or anything else to attempt to milk customer for more though.
What does socialism have to do for this, and why would a philosophical believe the purchase price of a game could decrease? From a philosophical perspective point the only way the cost would or should decrease is the price is too high and decreasing the cost would bring in more consumers and boost profit, or the gains generated motivates rivals and the cost must be lowered to compete. Phrasing of question. Appears to imply company is earning more money than it knows exactly what to do with. So would that equate to passing customer savings. Would it"trickle down?"
But thought it seemed to function under that guise. Lol - don't get me started on Internet Neutrality. But really wasn't even trying to become political. Just really saying. That they will, if more can be made by a Company by providing you less than or charging you more.
It's not a political discussion - I just found it ironic that you're criticising capitalists for calling what socialism as it is not, but go on to discuss trickledown economics when it is not relevant here nor is capitalism or socialism (or at least, some other socialist-style system being advocated today) really relevant to pricing choices beyond the impacts of the taxation systems in the country where the provider operates. In either financial systems, a company will still try to generate as much profit as you can - whether it uses those gains to give back to Buy NBA 2K MT investors, to pay staff and execs, to put money into R&D or to create NBA 2K20 more economical is around the company. The pricing decision is simply to maximise profits, which is the goal for a profit orientated company that is rational.
